InSysBio UK Ltd is a private research organization focused on provision of Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) modeling services to Pharma companies to address questions arising at different stages of drug research and development.
QSP modeling approach allows us to represent the effects of a medicine in terms of clinically measured biomarkers and end-points, predict the efficacy of a drug in humans on the basis of data measured in vitro, provide recommendation for appropriate dose and regimen for drug administration and search for optimal combinational therapies.
Services
- Investigation of the mechanism of action of compounds
- Optimization of dose, regimen, and study duration for early stages of clinical trials
- Prediction of compound tissue distribution (PBPK)
- Identification and validation of combination therapies
- Prioritization of biomarkers
- Analysis of clinical study failure
- Identification of characteristics of responders to a therapy
- Prioritization and evaluation of new targets
- Identification and design of experiments for ideas and hypothesis testing
About
InSysBio UK Ltd was founded in 2018 by a group of like-minded scientists with significant experience in applying systems approaches in Life Sciences, and interested in advancing QSP modeling as part of the routine process of drug research and development.
InSysBio UK Ltd is headed by Dr Galina Lebedeva who has more than 20 years’ experience leading interdisciplinary research teams and projects in international academic and industrial environments, and significant track-record in applying QSP modeling to solve practical tasks in drug research and development.
Our scientists are involved in the projects focused on
- provision of QSP modeling support to pharma companies in developing new drugs in immune-oncology and immune-inflammation therapeutic areas.
- development of QSP model of erythropoiesis and its application to assess efficacy of erythropoiesis stimulating agents including Roxadustat, Desidustat, Daprodustat and others
- development of QSP model of granulopoiesis and its application to assess safety and efficacy of different chemotherapeutic agents and combinations
- exploration of workflow for development of large scale QSP models
